At AIMS Psychiatry, Fawad Malik, MD, ABPN has been providing & coordinating care with Mills Peninsula Health Services as a staff physician since 2005. Coordinating care includes admitting & providing ongoing care for patients while patients complete their recommended treatment programs at the partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient programs (Dual Diagnosis, Adult IOP or CDIOP).

We can evaluate you and admit you to the required program that best fits your needs while you continue your ongoing treatment with your outpatient ongoing provider.
ADULT COMPREHENSIVE ADHD EVALUATION & TESTING & TMS/DEEP TMS Treatment
AIMS Psychiatry provides specialized procedural Psychiatry services for your specific mental health needs. We offer Comprehensive psychological testing (CPT),Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) as specialty treatments.
CPT
Comprehensive Psychological Testing
is a detailed compilation of objective, subjective testing, investigations and scales that are performed to diagnose Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADD, ADHD and ADHD-CT).
TMS
Transcranial magnetic Stimulation
is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of Severe Major Depression and Treatment Refractory Depression.TMS is typically used when other treatment modalities have not been effective and the current presentation is treatment resistant. Since it is a non-invasive treatment it is considered one of the safest treatments available as a non psychopharmacological treatment option.
TMS as a treatment modality has been successful in treatment, patients presenting with Severe Major Depressive Disorder, Anxious Depression, Anxiety, OCD and Smoking Cessation among other diagnoses. It is performed without any form of Anesthesia and is performed on an an outpatient basis under the care of Expert Trained staff and Drs who are certified to provide this cutting edge treatment modality at our designated offices.

Fawad Malik, M.D. is a twice Board certified Physician, who specializes in the field of Adult Psychiatry and has been providing psychiatric treatment and care for the last
18 years.
Dr Malik, Graduated from Dow University of Medical Sciences, on the Deans list in 1994. After moving to the U.S. completed a year of research at Stanford University Medical Center, Palo Alto before entering an Internship year at prestigious Cedar Sinai Medical Center/UCLA medical Center in Beverly Hills Los Angeles, CA. This was followed by a residency in Adult Psychiatry at California Pacific Medical center/ UCSF in San Francisco in 2004.After residency a sub specialization was completed as a Post Doctorate Fellowship in Mood Disorders & Psychopharmacology at the Stanford University Medical Center, Mirecc Center in Palo Alto.
Since 2005 he has been working with medium to large sized medical corporations and establishments in the Bay area.... till 2012 when he embarked on his own practice under the name of AIMS PSYCHIATRY which operates out of the Bay Area Peninsula namely Burlingame serving the greater bay area .
Currently, he also serves as Vice chair of Psychiatry at the Mills Peninsula Health Services Burlingame/Sutter Health Services., CA since 2005 providing psychiatric care in various settings apart from leading his own Group practice, AIMS Psychiatry, P.C. in the private sector.
On a personal note Dr Malik loves to spend quality time with his family, enjoys gardening, spending lazy days with his pet Berne-doodle, biking and remains active in Art circles as an art collector and patron.
